cX Promotion - NEW PRODUCT ANNOUNCEMENT - - FOR LAWYERS - -oOo- Legal contracts have unique elements, some of which are already partially addressed by clX, but many more of which can now be handled by a new program: the Contract Cross Referencer, ("cX"). ===================================== The new program, cX, produces three cross reference reports: one for definitions, one for clauses and one for annexures or attachments to contracts. cX offers all the facilities of clX, plus the ability to cross reference contract definitions, and contract annexures, exhibits or attachments. As an example of definitions cross referencing, every time the definition below is referred to in a document: "Subsidiary" has the meaning ascribed to it in the Smith- Brown Bill, 1993, and includes any Subsidiary formed or acquired after the date of this agreement the paragraphs where "Subsidiary" or "Subsidiaries" are used will be reported. This includes other definitions which might refer to Subsidiary, as well as ordinary paragraphs. You can't do this quite so conveniently with a global search. And if you wanted to find all the references to ten different definitions, you would have to enter ten different searches. cX finds them all at once, in a single conveniently laid out report. cX will not be distributed as shareware. It is available for a license fee based on $US220 per user, by ordering from: Andrew McBurnie, Generic Software Pty Ltd, acn 054 834 196, 26 Chalder Street, Newtown, NSW, 2042 AUSTRALIA. With your order, you will receive a cX program disk, a copy of cX Promotion the manual on disk, and 12 months support, which includes program fixes if you are able to send us problem documents on disk in Microsoft Word format. We do not guarantee to fix every problem. clX users may upgrade to cX by paying the difference between the clX price and the cX price, for the appropriate number of users.
